Around the World :: The Holy Land

Happy Thanksgiving from Jerusalem! I’ve been in Israel with the family for the last couple of days and we’ve been soaking in the Holy Land on our annual family vacation. It’s been cool visiting actual places that are mentioned in the bible and seeing it’s modern day versions compared to my own visual renditions of the ancient times that I probably conceived of in my years of CCD and Catholic school. Walking the streets and stopping at the actual “stations of the cross” gave me chills and standing in the room where the Last Supper took place was crazy. It is truly surreal to imagine that Jesus himself walked roamed these very sites over two thousand years ago.
