project 52 // week 34 :: The Birds & the Bees

I walk by these flowers in front of my house almost every day and only today did I stop to bend down and notice that there are tons, maybe 40 or 50, bumblebees buzzing about doin’ their thing. Of course, the dorky photographer in me got all giddy and decided to run back into the house and grab my camera. I like to think that most photographers, or artists for that matter, have a certain appreciation for nature that most people don’t. Maybe it’s the way the sun is peaking through tree branches or the random, weird formation of clouds in the sky. Or maybe it’s bumblebees pollenating flowers. Who can say, perhaps it’s just me.
