There’s really nothing quite like seeing The Legendary Roots crew perform in front of a hometown Philly crowd….Okay I lie…Wu-tang accompanied live by The Roots = a downright hype performance with energy matched by few shows I’ve ever been to. We attended The Roots Picnic in Penn’s Landing yesterday and the highlight of the show was definitely Wu-Massacre xx The Roots. Method Man’s stage presence is something else and couple that with instrumentals from one of the greatest bands ever, you can’t go wrong.

Other than that, it was my first exposure to Mayer Hawthorne and I was pretty impressed. He performed with his band, The County, and the guy’s got chops. Overall, big ups to Questo for masterminding a great show.
