Project 52 // Week 4 :: Street Dreams from a Distant Past

So it’s only week 4 and I’m already cheating….This photo was actually taken last week (later in the weekend if that helps my case!) during our annual snowboarding trip to my family’s mountain house in Upstate NY. There are these two Chevy’s from circa the 1960s that have taken their permanent resting place deep into the woods on our property. Each year we take a short hike up the hill to mess around, poke at the rusted seat springs, and throw rocks at the already shattered windshield. Their slow decay as they sit quietly in the snowy forest always brings to bear a certain nostalgia.
