Project 52 // Week 1 :: The Neon Boneyard
Published January 4, 2010
I had every intention of starting off 2010 with Project 365, the ultimate daily photo blog, but alas, I’ve succumbed to taking the easy way out. I have a lot of respect for anyone who has completed a Project 365 or even attempted one, but I shall ease into it with this instead. Thanks to a suggestion of fellow photog friend Mikey, I’ve started Project 52 — a weekly photoblog for the year 2010. 52 photos in 52 weeks. Should be a challenge, but here I go.
Week 1′s image is quite fitting as Melodee and I are about to go head on into planning our 2011 wedding. This is an HDR of a photo I took over the holidays from the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas where they retire all of the old neon signs from the strip and downtown LV. Pretty cool place for photogs if you’re ever in Sin City and need a break from the craps tables
PS - BTW, welcome to the new blog! I’ve retired the old blog, Along with Project 52 this will now be the official home of my photoblog.
